Trailhead GO is the free Salesforce mobile app for Trailhead, published for iOS and Android. It renders module units, quizzes and badges on a phone, and your Trailblazer Rank moves with them.
It signs in with the credential you already use on the web, so mobile progress lands on your existing Trailblazer profile.
One limit defines the app. Modules ending in a hands-on challenge cannot be finished here, and the FAQs say you will be prompted to use a desktop.

Worked example
Priya is a support rep studying for the Salesforce Certified Administrator exam. She installs Trailhead GO on an iPhone running iOS 18 and signs in with the Google account behind her web profile. She sets the Learn tab to role Administrator, level Beginner. On the bus she clears the reading and quiz units of a data management module, then favorites the trail. When the module reaches a hands-on challenge, the app sends her to a desktop, so that unit waits for her Trailhead Playground at home. Her badge count rises on the profile her manager already follows.
How far a phone actually gets you on Trailhead
The hands-on challenge wall
Trailhead units end in one of two ways: a multiple-choice quiz, or a hands-on challenge that inspects real metadata in a connected Trailhead Playground. The app takes the first and declines the second on both platforms, telling you to switch to a desktop. Superbadges are hands-on from start to finish, so none are reachable here.
One credential, one profile
Sign-in accepts Salesforce, Google, LinkedIn, Apple, Facebook, or plain email. Pick the same route you use on the web. Badges, points, certifications, superbadges and community answers all hang off one Trailblazer profile. A different credential can land you on a different one.
Four tabs on Android, five on iOS
Learn filters the catalog by role, level and product. Search covers trails, modules and projects by name or topic. Today mixes your favorites with Einstein recommendations drawn from recent activity. Settings, reminders and invites sit under More, the tab most people never open. The iOS FAQ names one more, Profile; the Android FAQ does not.
Rank, reminders, and what the app tracks
Rank shows on the iOS Profile tab alongside your name, badge count and points. The thresholds are the familiar ones: Scout at zero, Hiker after your first badge, Ranger at 100 badges and 50,000 points. A daily learning reminder and progress notifications are the whole scheduling story, and the reminder is what makes the habit stick.
What the documentation never promises
No offline mode is documented. Neither FAQ mentions downloading units, caching, or a storage manager, so assume a live connection for every screen. Certification scheduling, playground administration and content authoring stay on the web. To work inside an org from a phone, you want the Salesforce Mobile App instead.
Setting up Trailhead GO to survive past week one
Installing takes a minute. Getting it used comes down to two settings and one honest expectation.
- Install and check the OS floor
The app sits on the App Store and Google Play, both linked from the Trailhead GO page. iOS needs 16 or higher, Android needs 10 or higher.
- Sign in with the credential you already have
Use the provider behind your web Trailblazer profile.
- Filter the Learn tab to where you actually are
Match role and level to your current work, not the certification you want next year.
- Turn on the daily reminder
Pick a time you are reliably idle. The setting is under More, not on Today.

- A short-looking module can still end on a hands-on challenge, so check the unit list before you start one on a phone.
