Content and intellectual property
The original definitions, examples, blog posts, illustrations, and code samples on this site are the property of Salesforce Dictionary or its contributors. Personal use, classroom use, and short quotations with attribution are welcome. Commercial republication, mass scraping, or training of machine learning models on our content requires written permission.
Trademarks belong to their respective owners. See our Disclaimer.
If you believe content here infringes your copyright, see our DMCA & Copyright page.
User contributions
When you submit a term suggestion, edit, comment, or other content via the contribute or community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, publish, and display that contribution on the Service. You confirm that your contribution is original and that you have the right to grant this licence.
Third-party services
The Service uses third-party providers including Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Google AdSense (advertising). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms.
No warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific content is accurate or up to date.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salesforce Dictionary and its author are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Salesforce Dictionary and its author from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll bump the “Last updated” date at the top when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can’t be resolved by good-faith discussion will be resolved in the competent courts of India.
