The fine print
Every award is recorded once in an append-only ledger with a uniqueness key, so refreshing a page, resubmitting a quiz, or replaying a finished session never pays twice. Daily items reset at midnight UTC.
Reading pays only for a verified read: the time you actually spend with the article on screen plus scrolling to the end - a background tab earns nothing. Cert practice answers are checked on the server, and each question pays its bonus point only the first time you get it right.
Points feed the leaderboard across daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time windows - showing up regularly beats a single binge.
