Platform Events
A Salesforce event-driven messaging feature that enables publish-subscribe communication between systems. Platform Events allow real-time integration and decoupled event-driven architectures.
Example use case
An architect publishes a Platform Event from Salesforce when an order is confirmed, and an external fulfillment system subscribes to that event to begin processing.
